As this was my first trip to Yakushima, there were many places I wanted to see and visit, but I was able to visit them all in the two days I requested. I am glad that we requested this tour because not only that, but it also took us to other wonderful places that were not listed in the guidebooks. I was a little worried because I had an 8 year old child, but thanks to the kind female guide, I didn't have to worry about that anymore. At the end of the tour, my child even cried because she was sad to leave the guide. I am really glad I made the request. Thank you very much!

The time spent walking through the moss-covered forest was very pleasant, and I could concentrate only on the sounds of nature. The view from Taikoiwa Rock gave me a sense of accomplishment and made the climb worthwhile. Since it was a private tour, it was easy to ask questions, and the day was highly satisfying.
