    I took on Mt. Miyanoura, the highest peak in Kyushu. Since it was a private tour, the guide adjusted the pace to suit me, which was a big help, but as you’d expect from one of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains, it was quite a challenging climb. I got a little worn out toward the end, so I’ll give it 4 stars. The views were spectacular.

    I took this tour while traveling with my girlfriend! The moss in the Mononoke Forest was absolutely beautiful—it felt like we’d stepped right into a scene from the movie, and it was truly moving! The half-day tour was just the right length and was perfect for sightseeing on Yakushima.

    You can easily enjoy Shiraya Unsuikyo in just half a day, so I highly recommend it even for those who aren’t confident in their stamina! I was completely blown away by the mystical scenery of the Mononoke Forest. Since we had the place all to ourselves, I think it was excellent value for the money.

    Mononoke Forest was seriously just like being in a Ghibli movie! Since we had the place to ourselves for half a day, my friends and I could take as many photos as we wanted at our own pace, and the guide was so kind—it was an absolute blast♡
