Everything went smoothly. It was a very well-organized introductory diving experience, and I was able to encounter a sea turtle, so I was extremely satisfied. The free photo service was also a big help. However, the shower time felt a little short, so if that could be improved, it would be perfect.
It was my first time diving, and I was really nervous before we left, wondering if I’d be able to do it, but thanks to the instructor who stayed by my side the whole time and taught me so patiently, I was able to enjoy it to the fullest. I was truly moved to actually see the sea turtles—which I’d heard we were very likely to encounter. If I had to mention one thing, I did get a little seasick, so it would have been perfect if they’d offered information on motion sickness medication.
At first, we made our way slowly through the deep forest, climbing as we listened to explanations about rare plants. I got a little out of breath toward the end, but when we arrived at Taiko Rock, the vast panoramic view that spread out before my eyes left me speechless… The breeze felt refreshing, and I was filled with a sense of accomplishment at having made it to the top. Thanks to the guide’s thoughtful attention to detail, I was able to enjoy the experience with peace of mind right up to the very end.
The arrangements went smoothly. The private trekking tour at Yakusugi Land was comfortable because we could walk at our own pace. We were able to easily enjoy the mystical forest. If I had to nitpick, it would have been perfect if the landmark at the meeting spot had been a little easier to spot.
My wife and I took part in this tour. Being able to see the heart-shaped Wilson tree together made for a very romantic and wonderful memory. The tour included bus transportation to the Arakawa trailhead, which saved us the trouble of making our own arrangements—it was a huge help. Surrounded by the tranquility of the forest and the crisp, clear air, we were able to spend some relaxing time together.
First, we took a leisurely stroll through the moss-covered forest while listening to the gentle murmur of a beautiful mountain stream, fully savoring the mystical scenery that has even served as a film location. Next, we climbed to Taiko Rock at the summit and took our time enjoying the magnificent view of the mountains stretching out before us. Thanks to the attentive care that comes with having the tour all to ourselves, it was a fulfilling trek that didn’t strain our stamina.
