This is a special morning tour to avoid the daytime crowds and enjoy Shiratani-unsui Gorge in the fresh early morning air.

Pass through the mysterious "moss forest," said to have served as a model for a movie, to the 1,050-meter-high "Taikoiwa" (drum-shaped rock). The 360-degree panoramic view from the summit is a moment of bliss that only early risers can enjoy. Enjoy the leisurely flow of island time and the breath of the virgin forest with all your senses.

On a clear day, this is a spectacular spot with a view of Miyanoura-dake, Kyushu's highest peak. The view in the fresh morning air will be a memory you will cherish forever.

A mysterious space surrounded by a blanket of greenery. The moss wet with morning dew shines even more brilliantly, looking like something out of a movie.

(iii)hedge cedar (Cedrus deodara)
This is a famous spot in Shiratani Unsui Gorge where visitors can pass through a large root cavity. You can feel the life force of the powerful Yakusugi cedar up close.

The tour takes about 7 hours, but the guide will go slowly at your pace. The tour departs early in the morning and returns around 12:30 p.m., so you can make the most of your afternoon. Beginners are also welcome to experience the quiet forest first. ☆☆☆

A separate forest environment maintenance cooperation fee of 500 yen is also required. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in attire and physical condition for a safe and comfortable tour.

* If the guide determines that the tour is not feasible due to inclement weather (heavy rain, typhoon, thunderstorm, etc.), warnings, or road closures, a full refund will be given.
* We are unable to respond to sudden illnesses in the mountains. Please inform us in advance if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
* All trash brought in will be taken home. Please cooperate in preserving the environment.
* The pick-up time at the time of reservation is tentative. The guide will inform you of the exact time the day before.
* Pick-up service is available in the Miyanoura-Awa area. For those staying in other areas, please consult with us before applying.

* There is a surcharge for those over 70 years of age. Please be sure to select from the options.
* The guide reserves the right to refuse participation on the day of the tour (non-refundable) in case of improper attire, poor physical condition, or any other behavior that may cause inconvenience to other guests.
