    At first, we made our way slowly through the deep forest, climbing as we listened to explanations about rare plants. I got a little out of breath toward the end, but when we arrived at Taiko Rock, the vast panoramic view that spread out before my eyes left me speechless… The breeze felt refreshing, and I was filled with a sense of accomplishment at having made it to the top. Thanks to the guide’s thoughtful attention to detail, I was able to enjoy the experience with peace of mind right up to the very end.

    The hike through Shiratani Unsuikyo and Taiko Rock was seriously the best lol. Since we had the place all to ourselves, my friends and I could hike while having a blast without worrying about anyone else—it totally got us hyped! The view from Taiko Rock was insane, and the pace was perfect lol. I definitely want to go back!

    I used this shop during my last visit to Yakushima, and I came back again this time for a half-day trek through Shiratani Unsuikyo. As always, the guide was very efficient and led us safely and comfortably through the mystical scenery of the “Forest of the Spirits.” Even in just half a day, I was able to fully enjoy Yakushima’s great outdoors, and no matter how many times I use their services, they never disappoint. I’d love to book with them again.

    The arrangements went smoothly. The private trekking tour at Yakusugi Land was comfortable because we could walk at our own pace. We were able to easily enjoy the mystical forest. If I had to nitpick, it would have been perfect if the landmark at the meeting spot had been a little easier to spot.

    I took a tour with my child from Yakusugi Land to see the Kigen-sugi cedar. My child’s eyes sparkled with delight at the sight of Yakushima’s majestic forests and the massive Yakusugi cedars. As a parent, I felt reassured that the trail was easy to walk. However, it did feel a bit chilly in the forest at times, so I think it would have been perfect if we’d been advised in advance to bring a jacket.
