    We’re a couple—my husband is in his 60s, and I’m in my 50s. I was worried about my husband’s stamina, so I booked a private tour. Although he had been working out at the gym, right after we started hiking, his steps seemed unsteady. So, after consulting with the guide, my husband went as far as the Wilson Tree and then turned back, taking his time descending while strolling along the river and other areas. Meanwhile, I, the wife, mentioned that I wanted to go as far as the Jomon Sugi, so I was immediately allowed to join a group tour organized by the same company on the spot, and I made it safely to the Jomon Sugi. Everyone in the group was so nice, and it turned into a wonderful memory. I am truly grateful for their flexible and adaptable response to our situation. The guide was also very knowledgeable and experienced, and it was a real pleasure to talk with him. Thank you so much!!

    I’d always dreamed of seeing the Jomon Sugi, and the sense of accomplishment when I finally reached it on my own two feet was incredible. Thanks to our professional guide, I was able to hike with peace of mind. The snack breaks along the way were a nice change of pace and really helped me conserve my energy. While the trail had some rugged sections, it was more than worth it.

    Since we were visiting Yakushima, choosing the private tour package was absolutely the right decision. Our female guide adjusted the route to match our walking pace and preferences, making for a very comfortable experience. The tranquility and beauty of the moss-covered forest are beyond words.     Booking this tour was definitely the right choice. I was very impressed with the pre-tour preparations, such as the checklist of items to bring. On the day of the tour, the pace was perfectly managed, and we were able to hear detailed explanations not only about the Yakusugi cedars but also about Yakushima’s history, flora, and fauna.     We went to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. She had said she wanted to see the Jomon Sugi at least once, so I’m glad she was able to see it without any problems. Since both my parents are in their 60s, I was worried before we left about how things would go, but after the guide advised us to practice climbing stairs, it seems she made sure to go up and down the stairs at her workplace—all the way to the fifth floor—several times. We were blessed with good weather on the day of the tour, and I think that’s why we were able to complete the hike without any issues. The guide paced the tour perfectly, and it was really great that we were able to take our time photographing the scenic spots on the way back. The guide was also very accommodating with the transportation arrangements, and I’d definitely like to use their services again. Thank you very much.
