Intermediate level] Yakushima Trekking Tour

My 80 year old mother and my 50-something sister and I were guided by a guide. Because we were guided to Taikoiwa at a pace that was comfortable for our stamina, it took 7.5 hours, almost double the time written in the pamphlet, but thanks to that we were able to see a wonderful view that we will remember for the rest of our lives. It was also very pleasant to cool our feet in the river after descending the mountain, and we were very satisfied with our guide throughout. Thank you very much.

The female guide, an expert on nature, guided us through the forest, and we were able to learn about the charms of the forest that we would not have noticed if we had simply walked through it. Since it was a private tour, we were able to enjoy it without hesitation.

The custom-made plan made it possible for us to have our own tour of Yakushima. They were also very precise in suggesting routes that avoided crowds and took lots of pictures.

I was very satisfied to be able to visit both moss forests and taiko rocks in one day. I never got bored with the changing scenery, and the attentiveness of the female guide made me feel safe and comfortable.

I have climbed several mountains in my life, but the path to the Jomon cedars was exceptional. Not only did I feel a sense of accomplishment from the climb, but I was also deeply moved by the sense of oneness with nature.

Since we were given a private tour, we were able to ask many questions without worrying about others. The female guide's unique perspective was sympathetic and friendly.
