Intermediate level] Yakushima Trekking Tour

Since we were given a private tour, we were able to ask many questions without worrying about others. The female guide's unique perspective was sympathetic and friendly.

The tour was not only a great opportunity to enjoy nature, but also to learn about the culture and lifestyle of Yakushima. The guide's stories were interesting and made the day full of learning.

The path we walked, step by step, surrounded by huge trees, was like a different world. I was worried because I was not confident in my physical strength, but the pace was perfectly allocated and I was able to complete the race without any difficulty.

I joined the tour with my 3 and 6 year old grandchildren and my son and his wife. We were fascinated by the history of Yakushima and the wonders of the Yakusugi cedars that our guide taught us. Since it was a custom-made tour, the guide devised a schedule according to my grandson's pace, and it was the most enjoyable trekking experience.

We only had about 5-6 hours to spend in Yakushima, but we were able to go to the moss forest, which was our goal, and we were able to enjoy our first time in Yakushima thanks to the wonderful guide who took pictures at each point and explained the plants to us. If we have another chance, we would definitely like to go back again.
