The shuttle service made it very easy to participate. The scenery at Mononoke Forest was simply breathtaking. The course was designed for beginners and easy to walk, and the guide’s explanations were precise and easy to understand. If I ever have the chance to visit Yakushima again, I’d definitely like to use this service.

Since we were visiting Yakushima, choosing the private tour package was absolutely the right decision. Our female guide adjusted the route to match our walking pace and preferences, making for a very comfortable experience. The tranquility and beauty of the moss-covered forest are beyond words. I don’t usually get much exercise, so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to make it all the way, but it turned out to be fine even for beginners. The included transportation made getting around so much easier—it was a huge help! The light filtering through the trees was absolutely beautiful, and I was able to relax and enjoy the scenery. The guide was so kind, and I’m really glad I joined!

I was a little worried about whether my kids would be able to enjoy it too, but thanks to the guide’s kind support, we made it all the way through without a hitch! The forest felt like a whole other world, and my kids were absolutely thrilled. Since we had the tour all to ourselves, it was really great that we could take our time at our own family’s pace. We were able to truly feel the grandeur of nature firsthand, and it became a wonderful family memory.

It was seriously the best lol. The ocean was crystal clear and so beautiful. I finally got to see the sea turtles I’d been dreaming of, and I was so excited! The free camera rental was a total godsend. It was also a huge help that there was a proper place to change clothes~

We visited as a family, and our kids had a blast. The trail from Yakusugi Land to the Kigen Cedar was easy even for children to walk, and thanks to the guide who kindly explained the plants and history, we parents were able to watch over them with peace of mind. Our kids’ eyes sparkled the whole time at the massive cedar trees unique to Yakushima, and we made so many wonderful family memories.
