As a river kayaking experience on the Awa River, I appreciate the beautiful natural scenery and the fact that they offer two-person kayaks that are easy even for beginners to paddle. The river current was gentle, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself. However, there were times when the sun was quite strong, so I felt it would have been even better if they had announced in advance the importance of sun protection, such as wearing a hat and sunglasses.

I got to try both kayaking and SUP—it was so much fun! Since it was just a half-day trip, it was easy to fit other plans in afterward, so the timing was perfect. But the sun was really strong, so sunscreen is a must!

It went smoothly. The natural scenery along the Awa River was beautiful during the kayaking experience. However, there were so many participants that I felt I couldn’t quite paddle at my own pace. I think the experience was worth the price.

Kayaking on the Awa River was seriously the best lol. The water was super clear and beautiful, and just gliding leisurely through nature got me so hyped! Even as a beginner, I had no trouble paddling—the pace was perfect lol. If you come to Yakushima, you absolutely have to try this!

It was great to be able to enjoy both the forest and kayaking. Since we had the tour all to ourselves, they were able to accommodate our schedule flexibly. There was no hassle with transportation, and everything went smoothly. If I had to say one thing, it was a little tiring, but it was good exercise.

I went on this tour with my husband! Paddling a kayak across the crystal-clear waters of the Awa River felt absolutely wonderful, and we were able to enjoy a relaxing time together☆ Even though we were beginners, the guide taught us everything very carefully, so we felt completely at ease. Being surrounded by the stunning nature of Yakushima was so relaxing—it made for an unforgettable experience!
