You can explore the Yakusugiland - Kigen Sugi course and tour the island in a guide's shuttle.
The tour will visit Nagata Inaka Beach, a spawning spot for sea turtles, the Seibu Forest Road, a World Heritage site with subtropical vegetation, and souvenir shops on the island.

Thanks to the guide accommodating our tight schedule, we were able to fully enjoy our trek at Yakusugi Land. I had purchased trekking poles in advance, but while packing, I accidentally left them at home—so it was a huge help that the guide lent me a pair. The trail included both well-maintained sections and natural terrain, making for a truly exciting hike. The stories about the Yakusugi cedars, the Kigen Cedar, and the forest were very informative, and the guide took photos for us at various spots, so it was wonderful to have photos of just the two of us as a couple, as well as beautiful shots of the forest. If we’d had more time, I would have liked to go even further. It was a wonderful trail that allowed us to experience the natural cycles of Yakushima firsthand. The follow-up communication after booking was very thorough, and they were flexible in accommodating our needs. If I have the chance again, I’d definitely like to book another tour through this site.
We visited as a family, and our kids had a blast. The trail from Yakusugi Land to the Kigen Cedar was easy even for children to walk, and thanks to the guide who kindly explained the plants and history, we parents were able to watch over them with peace of mind. Our kids’ eyes sparkled the whole time at the massive cedar trees unique to Yakushima, and we made so many wonderful family memories.
Yakusugi Land was seriously amazing lol. The Yakusugi cedars over 1,000 years old were so awe-inspiring—I was totally hyped! Since we had the place all to ourselves, we could walk around chatting with the guide, and my friends and I had the time of our lives lol. If you’re going to Yakushima, you absolutely have to check this out lol.
Yakusugi Land is absolutely amazing!! The Yakusugi cedars, over 1,000 years old, are so incredibly impressive—it really got me hyped up!!! The mystical forest of Yakusugi Land and the awe-inspiring ancient cedars make every photo you take look stylish—I was completely satisfied! The trails are easy enough for kids to walk on, and I felt completely refreshed surrounded by nature. If you want to capture beautiful photos on Yakushima, this tour is an absolute must!
