It is located about 10 minutes up a steep mountain path from Tsuji Pass, further into the interior from the Mononoke Forest (moss forest). The atmosphere of the overgrown forest up to that point was completely different, with a clear blue sky,360-degree panoramabut...!

Rainwear, trekking shoes, and a sack/pack cover are required for this trekking tour.
There are rental stores on Yakushima for the above equipment. Please rent the equipment by the day before the trip.

If a reservation is cancelled by the customer after it has been confirmed, the following cancellation fees will apply

After 6:00 p.m. 2 days prior to the event to the day of the event: 100% of the full price*However, no cancellation fee will be charged if the tour is deemed impossible by the guide in charge due to adverse weather conditions such as typhoons.

*Please inform us in advance at the time of application if you have a medical history that should be noted, if you have undergone major surgery in the past, or if you have a physical disability. Cardiovascular disease patients require a doctor's consent. Pregnant women are not permitted to participate for safety reasons.
*The tour may be cancelled, the course may be changed, or the tour time may be shortened at the discretion of the guide due to inclement weather on the day of the tour. If the tour is cancelled before departure on the day of the tour, a full refund will be given, but if the course is changed after departure, the tour fee will not be refunded.
*In the event that we determine that the tour cannot be conducted safely due to a guest's physical condition, physical fitness, or inadequate clothing or equipment, or that the tour would be detrimental to other guests, we may ask the guest to withdraw from the tour, even on the day of the tour. In such cases, the tour fee will not be refunded. (Please be especially careful with your trekking equipment.)

Q. I don't have trekking equipment...
We do not provide rentals, but you are advised to prepare your trekking equipment the day before at a rental store near your lodgings.
Trekking shoes, rainwear, sack, sack cover, and light (necessary for tours starting early in the morning, etc.)
Q. Can you provide transportation to and from the inn?Of course, it is all right! However, there is a pick-up area, and it is only in the areas of "Miyanoura", "Koseda (around the airport)", "Awa", and "Onoma".
For those staying in other areas, please rent a car or take a cab to the meeting point on the day of the tour. For those who meet locally, we will take you back to the meeting point after the tour.
Q. I have a different accommodation (pick-up/drop-off point) before and after the tour...Don't worry! Please check out of your hotel in the morning and leave your luggage in the guide's car.
If you are not within the pick-up area, we will take you to a nearby bus stop, cab, or rental car agency if you have made a reservation.
Q. How long can I make a reservation?It would be helpful if you could contact us at least 2 days in advance, as pick-up and drop-off times will be finalized 2 nights before the event.Q. How old do I have to be to participate in this tour?You must be at least 6 years old (elementary school age and up) to participate.
