What is Yumukai Onsen Hot Spring?
Yumukai Onsen is a hot spring located on Kuchinoerabu Island. It is characterized by floating hot spring water flowers and is a hot spring that can be entered 24 hours a day.
Yumukai Onsen is located on Kuchino-erabu Island, about 35 minutes by car after disembarking at Honmura Port on Kuchino-erabu Island via ferry from Oku Island.
The spring water is sulfur containing yellowish spring water, sodium, and chloride hot spring (hydrogen sulfide type), and is slightly acidic and high temperature.
The main benefits seem to be for joint pain, neuralgia, and muscle pain.
The bathing fee is about 100 yen for a Kokorozashi.
It is open 24 hours a day, and bathing styles are separated for men and women.
