Western Forest Road Tour

The beach, bathed in the quiet of the early morning, was indescribably beautiful. I was thoroughly satisfied as my guide took me from one photogenic spot to the next, including the Western Forest Road and waterfalls. Any part of the natural landscape bathed in the morning light makes for a stunning photograph. I was lucky enough to capture some wildlife on camera as well, making for a truly fulfilling photography trip.

I took part in this tour while traveling with my wife. Taking a walk together along Inaka Beach in the crisp, early morning air was a truly wonderful memory. Enjoying the light breakfast prepared by our guide while taking in the scenery was also a special experience. We were able to share a quiet, luxurious moment while sensing the presence of sea turtles. This is a tour that lets you fully savor the charm of a morning on Yakushima.

I arranged this women-only tour as a gift for her trip to Yakushima. Although I was traveling alone, since it was a women-only tour and the guide was so kind, I was able to enjoy my walk along the Western Forest Road without ever feeling lonely. I strolled through the forest at my own leisurely pace, and I was truly moved when I encountered wild Yakusima macaques and Yakusima deer. I spent a luxurious time completely immersed in the fresh air of the great outdoors. The included transportation was a huge help.

The facilities and arrangements went smoothly. Since the Yaksugi Land walking tour offers different difficulty levels, I was able to enjoy it at my own pace. The transportation service was also fine. However, it would have been even better if the portion sizes of the boxed lunches had been a little larger.
