Yakushima - Nunobiki Waterfall Park
What is Nunobikinotaki Park?
Nunobikinotaki Falls Park is located in Ichiminato, Yakushima-cho, Kumage-gun, on the northern side of Yakushima Island, and is centered around Nunobikinotaki Falls.
Located close to Miyanoura Port, where ferries to Yakushima also dock, it is an easy spot to visit.
Nunobikino-taki Falls is about 40 meters high and does not have a particularly large volume of water.
However, the surrounding area is conveniently maintained as a park with a covered rest area, restrooms, and parking.
There is also a walking trail that allows visitors to see the falls up close, making it easy to visit without worrying about their footing.
This park is recommended for those who want to easily enjoy the negative ions and forest bathing of Yakushima.
Directions to Nunobikinotaki Waterfall Park
Nunobikinotaki Falls Park is located approximately 15 minutes by car from Miyanoura Port.
Exit Miyanoura Port and follow Route 78 along the road with the ocean on your right.
Once you see Mayu Hill on your right, turn left at the next street and you will see a waterfall ahead.
