Since we were visiting Yakushima, choosing the private tour package was absolutely the right decision. Our female guide adjusted the route to match our walking pace and preferences, making for a very comfortable experience. The tranquility and beauty of the moss-covered forest are beyond words. It felt very private, and we were able to fully enjoy a special time all to ourselves.

The facilities were great. It was a fully customized, private tour that allowed us to efficiently visit the natural spots we wanted to see, making it easy to plan our itinerary. The female guide provided precise guidance, and the complimentary photo service was a thoughtful touch. It was easy to arrange and an excellent sightseeing experience.

I’d say it offers good value for the price. It was appealing to have a female guide all to ourselves and be able to customize the route through Shiratani Unsuikyo to suit our preferences. The forest bath was very refreshing. However, if I had to mention one thing, there were a few spots in the forest where the footing was a bit uneven, so you should make sure to bring sturdy hiking shoes. Overall, I’m satisfied with the arrangements.

I was traveling alone, but I was able to enjoy sightseeing on Yakushima without any worries. My female guide was very friendly and approachable, and she tailored the tour completely to my requests, so I was able to immerse myself fully in the great outdoors without ever feeling lonely. When traveling alone, you tend to end up with few photos of yourself, but she took plenty of pictures for me for free, which was the perfect way to recharge.
