Yakushima - Princess Mononoke Forest (moss forest)
What is Princess Mononoke Forest (moss forest)?
Some people may not have a clear idea of the mossy forests of Shiratani-unsui Gorge.
However, many people will immediately have an image in their minds when they think of the forest of Princess Mononoke, also known as Princess Mononoke.
In addition to Yakushima's registration as a World Heritage site, the popularity of Princess Mononoke overseas and the growing recognition of Japanese anime overseas have made the island a popular tourist spot for both domestic and international visitors.
There will be times when you will feel that your vision is becoming increasingly green.
In such cases, it should be a good idea to proceed with caution on foot because of the water, streams and rivers flowing nearby.
Once you reach Shiratani Hut, the moss forest is only 200 meters away.
In fact, there are so many tourists that you should not get lost, but just watch out for the weather and avoid over-exertion.
