What is Hana no Egawa?
Hana no Egawa is a marshland located on Oku Island. It is the southernmost marshland in Japan and is even more beautiful during the rhododendron season.
The Hananoe River is located on the way to Miyanoura-dake, which is considered the highest mountain in Kyushu.
Since it is located in the middle of a climbing route, clothing and equipment should be appropriate for mountain climbing.

How to get to Hana no Egawa
To get there, it is about 35 minutes further from Yakusugiland and can be reached from the Yodogawa trailhead.
There are about 10 parking spaces at the Yodo River trailhead.
If you take the bus, you will go to Kigen-sugi, from where you will walk about 30 minutes to the trailhead, and then climb up from the trailhead.
When you climb, you must submit a climbing report. Many people put in conservation money before climbing the mountain.
The Hana no Egawa River, which can be enjoyed while climbing the mountain, will be an especially popular spot for those who love mountain climbing.
