Yakushima Trekking Tour

I took on Mt. Miyanoura, the highest peak in Kyushu. Since it was a private tour, the guide adjusted the pace to suit me, which was a big help, but as you’d expect from one of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains, it was quite a challenging climb. I got a little worn out toward the end, so I’ll give it 4 stars. The views were spectacular.

It was a private parent-child tour with my son, who has little mountaineering experience, but we were able to successfully reach the summit of Mt. Miyanoura. It was a great help that you adjusted the pace to suit us without pushing us too hard. On the day of the tour, we were captivated by the cloudless blue sky and the rhododendrons in full bloom. I’m truly grateful for the guide’s explanations about Yakushima and the valuable experience of playing in the river. Thank you very much.

Miyanoura-dake is a must for mountaineering enthusiasts! Since it was a private tour, I could climb at my own pace and the panoramic view from the top of the mountain was beautiful beyond words! Thanks to our guide, it was the best eco-trekking experience ever!

Miyanoura, the highest peak in Kyushu, the view was great, but the climb was still challenging and quite tiring. The chartered guide was very helpful in pacing us. The weather is changeable, so it is better to be well equipped.

Miyanoura-dake, the highest peak in Kyushu, the panorama as far as the eye could see, and the endemic flora left me impressed from start to finish! Thanks to the chartered guide, we were able to enjoy the mountains of Yakushima safely and deeply.

Changed to Mt. Kromi due to rain and wind. It is a pity!
