Yakushima Trekking Tour

With a typhoon approaching, we began our climb up Mt. Miyanoura, keeping safety as our top priority and keeping the option to turn back in mind. Although we faced strong winds, there were views we could only experience because of these weather conditions, making it a very satisfying hike. The guide stayed by our side even during the toughest moments, and the warm miso soup we were served at the summit truly warmed our hearts. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and had an answer for every question we asked. He was truly a master of Yakushima and felt very reassuring. Thanks to him, it turned into an unforgettable hike. Even though I was traveling alone, I was able to enjoy myself without any reservations. The certified guide was very friendly and chatted with me, so I never felt lonely and was able to fully immerse myself in the journey to the Jomon Sugi.
