What is "Snake Mouth Falls?"

Snake's Mouth Waterfall is located in the mountains of southern Yakushima, with a drop of about 30 meters and a width of about 100 meters. The name "Snake's Mouth Falls" comes from its appearance, which resembles a serpent opening its mouth, as the water cascades smoothly down over the wide granite rocks.

◎Required: Shoes that can walk in the mountain (trekking shoes or sneakers with non-slip soles), rain wear (top and bottom separates), backpack (about 25L), packed lunch (one-day tour only), drink (about 500ml plastic bottle is acceptable; you can fetch water from the stream to drink)
◎Optional: Stock, gloves (military gloves), folding umbrella, action food (snacks)
◎Please bring clothes that can get wet, a change of clothes, and a towel if you play in the water.
