Yakushima-Nunobikidaki Waterfall
What is Nunobikidaki Falls?
The name Nunobikidaki Falls is also a common name for waterfalls throughout Japan, but Nunobikinotaki Falls on Yakushima is clearly a waterfall with two sides.
It means the calm expression on a fine day and the intensity of the rainfall or after the rainfall.
On the contrary, it should be noted that on good days there is little and often no water flowing.
On days when the water volume is high, you can see the 40-meter drop of the waterfall, and it is a rare waterfall in Yakushima that hangs over the cruciform rock.
It is a type of waterfall commonly seen on the mainland, which seems unorthodox on Yakushima, where many waterfalls are located on granite, the unique soil.
