Since the Yaksugi Land walking tour offers different difficulty levels, I was able to enjoy it at my own pace. The transportation service was also fine. However, it would have been even better if the portion sizes of the boxed lunches had been a little larger.

530代Posted in July 2026We went on this trip together♪ I was a little nervous about walking through the World Heritage-listed forest, but the wild animals were so cute that I couldn’t help but smile☆ The negative ions at Okawa Falls were abundant, and we made some amazing memories together! The bento was delicious, too, and we’re already talking about how we’d love to see Yakushima in a different season!

440代Month of posting: 2026/05I think this is a plan that strikes a good balance between jungle trekking and wildlife observation, and offers great value for the money. I was able to encounter macaques and sika deer while walking through the World Heritage forest, and I also enjoyed the dynamic scenery of Okawa Falls. However, there were a few spots on the mountain trail where the footing was a bit uneven, so it would have been perfect if there had been a stronger reminder in advance about what kind of shoes to wear.

I highly recommend this place if you want to take some great photos!

540代Month of posting: 2026/05I participated with my child. I was a little worried about whether we’d be able to hike through a real jungle, but thanks to the guide’s stories that really captured my child’s interest, my child walked energetically all the way to the end. I’ll never forget the sparkle in my child’s eyes when we spotted a sika deer. It’s become a wonderful family treasure!

550代Month of posting: 2026/04At first, I was taken aback by the dense jungle, but I felt at ease because our guide kept a comfortable walking pace. As we made our way along the Western Forest Road, we gradually began to spot macaques and sika deer, and being able to observe the animals up close was a truly precious experience. The bento lunch we enjoyed in the great outdoors was absolutely delicious… I was also overwhelmed by the sheer scale of Okawa Falls, which we visited later in the trip, and the entire experience was a continuous series of surprises and moments of wonder.

450代Month of posting: 2026/04Last time I went trekking somewhere else, but this time I wanted to walk through a quiet forest, so I chose this tour. The female guide was very kind, and I was able to enjoy a leisurely time surrounded by the scent of the forest at Yakusugi Land. However, there were a few moments when I felt a bit chilly, so it would have been even more comfortable if they had recommended something to wear over my clothes.
