What is "Kuroamidake"?

Kuromi-dake is a popular mountain that rises 1,831 meters above sea level in the central part of Yakushima☆ Starting from the Yodogawa trailhead, we will cross forests, high marshes, and huge rock belts to reach the summit.

From the summitMt Miyanouraand Nagata-dake, as well as on clear days.You can see as far as Tanegashima Island.The panoramic view is spectacular. This is a trekking course for those who are confident in their physical strength and can fully enjoy the natural charm of Yakushima.

Characteristics of Kuromi-dake

8-10 hours course
Walking distance: approx. 10.2 km / Elevation difference: approx. 470 m

◆First half of the walk in the forest, which is relatively easy to walk.
The second half is a full-scale trekking with rocky terrain and steep climbs.
The spectacular view from the rocky area just below the summit is outstanding!
