Cruise down Yakushima’s scenic rivers on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP)! Enjoy Yakushima’s nature and scenery at a leisurely pace from a different perspective—right from the river.

You can choose between two time slots—morning and afternoon—so you can easily join the tour to fit your travel schedule.

Even if you're new to SUP or just starting out, our guides will provide careful support, so please feel free to join us with confidence. If you're nervous about standing up, you can also paddle while sitting down!

It was my first time trying SUP, but I was able to stand up surprisingly quickly and really enjoyed it! The view from the river was refreshing—it was definitely the right choice. Though, if the changing area had been a little bigger, it would have been perfect!

As I glided across the river’s surface and looked up at the deep greenery, my heart felt completely cleansed. In that peaceful moment, with only the gentle sound of the water and the birdsong to be heard, my daily fatigue seemed to melt away… Thanks to the guide’s kind support, I was able to enjoy myself without worrying about my age. Every time I look at the photos, I’m soothed by that beautiful scenery.

Even though I was traveling alone, I was able to enjoy myself without feeling self-conscious. The guide was very friendly and chatted with me, which immediately put me at ease. Paddling along on the SUP felt wonderful, and I was completely immersed in the natural surroundings. Receiving the photos for free was a truly appreciated service, especially for a solo traveler. It was a great way to refresh myself.
