What is Yakusugiland?

Yakusugiland is a nature park developed so that even beginners can enjoy the Yakusugi Forest, a representative nature of Yakushima, without difficulty.

In the cool, clear air at an elevation of approximately 1,000 meters, visitors can enjoy the fantastic scenery of Yakusugi cedar trees, mossy forests, and clear streams that are several hundred to more than 1,000 years old.

The content of the tour, which consisted mainly of walking through the forest while taking deep breaths, was more suitable for refreshment purposes than for sightseeing. The concept of using all five senses to feel nature was easy to understand, and I felt refreshed afterward.
