I was overwhelmed by the beauty and the mystery of nature when I actually saw the heart-shaped hollow of Wilson's Stump. The trekking itself was just difficult enough for beginners to enjoy, and we were able to walk slowly and enjoy nature. Although the trek started early in the morning, we were able to walk in a quiet and sacred atmosphere and fully experience the great nature of Yakushima. I recommend it especially for women! It was a bit tiring walking on the trolley path, but the mountain path was enjoyable enough even for beginners.
